5. one of the most challenging pieces in the piano repertoire?pasagot po plss

Answer: Brahms - Variations on a theme of Paganini

Explanation:

As a pianist, I get annoyed when people think of hard piano compositions they see Chopin and Liszt every time. Here we have the piece that surpasses the technical and emotional virtuosity of some of those composers pieces. Brahms as a conservative composers, he tries to be rational with the difficulty of his pieces. But he really shows that he can surpass these composers in terms of technical abilities in playing the piano if he just wanted to. The variations consist of 2 books that takes about 23 minutes to perform it fully. Each variation is fairly unique to one another in which requires you to intake many kinds of technique. For example, we have the first variation of book 1 which already starts of very difficult with churning sixths. Then the 2nd variation off fierce and morose, it requires you to change from hand to hand for just a single line of rapid notes then the 4th gets really crazy with the trills and staggering octaves. Then so on and we receive an amazing climax of the first book, a 3 in 1 variation. The hardest part of the entire 1st book. But the were still not finished the 2nd book features more harder variations, specially in variation 11 which is considered to be nearly impossible, yet it fools you with its skittish and scherzo-ish sound. But of course he still implemented just lovely and beautiful variations just after 11 we have 12 which is a nocturne, he still tries to play with the difficulty by implementing hemiolas that makes the rhythm of the piece confusing and inner voicings. And again we receive a great final climax of the piece. Brahms showed Liszt what he was capable of. Liszt even stated that "Brahms's variations are better than mine, but I did it first ". As we can see that the grand pianist himself admitted his inferiority to Brahms just from hearing this piece. So next time when people ask you a really hard piano piece, don't talk about with Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninoff for a second. We have this piece to talk about and appreciate.

Lol I'm done with my answer. I would really appreciate a thanks - w -

6. have an extensive vocal repertoire

Answer:

Vocal music, any of the genres for solo voice and voices in combination, with or without instrumental accompaniment. It includes monophonic music (having a single line of melody) and polyphonic music (consisting of more than one simultaneous melody). This article deals with Western art music preserved in staff notation, either for a single solo voice or for voices in unison, and briefly discusses the differences between Western and non-Western traditions. It excludes the complex forms of opera, oratorio, cantata, mass, and requiem, in which solo singing is frequently combined with choral music. The earliest written examples date from the 10th century, prior to which music was transmitted principally by oral tradition.

26. how many vocal repertoires does maranao have

There are two distinct repertoires in Philippine oral traditions: 1) musical forms that evolved from Southeast Asian cultures, usually referred to as indigenous traditions, and 2) musical forms that developed in rural Christian communities, more commonly known as folk music. They may be further categorized into vocal, instrumental, a combination of both, as well as forms that integrate these elements with physical movement, space, dance, and theater.

In the first category, many of the musical forms are related to different occasions such as life cycle events and occupational activities and different kinds of rituals. In the Cordillera Administrative Region in Northern Luzon, musical performances are done during the agricultural cycle, peace pacts, courtship and marriage, and death rites. These events are highlighted by a feast ritual called cañao, chaw-es, bugnas or peshit among the Ibaloi.

27. It is a group that can perform an extensive repertoire of varied musical styles.

Answer:

Well-known musical composition, considered part of the "standard repertoire" of one or more musical genres

In music, a standard is a musical composition of established popularity, considered part of the "standard repertoire" of one or several genres. Even though the standard repertoire of a given genre consists of a dynamic and partly subjective set of songs, these can be identified by having been performed or recorded by a variety of musical acts, often with different arrangements. In addition, standards are extensively quoted by other works and commonly serve as the basis for musical improvisation. Standards may "cross over" from one genre's repertoire to another's; for example, many jazz standards have entered the pop repertoire, and many blues standards have entered the rock repertoire.

Standards exist in the classical, popular and folk music traditions of all cultures. In the context of Western classical music, the standard repertoire constitutes most of what is considered the "teaching canon", i.e. the compositions that students learn in their academic training. The standard repertoire varies according to the different eras, movements and scenes within a genre, meaning that the extent to which a given composition is considered a standard or "repertoire piece" may vary greatly. However, some repertoires (e.g. concert piano) have become particularly static, giving rise to a divide between "standard-repertoire performers" and contemporary music advocates.

Standards mostly possess "canonical" structures which pervade the repertoire. Popular standards in the Western tradition often have one of four basic song structures: strophic form (AAA), twelve-bar blues progression (AAB), thirty-two-bar form (AABA) or a verse–chorus form (ABAB).
